CAT 2009 Results Declared

The Common Admission Test (CAT) is an all-India test conducted by the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) as an entrance exam for the management programmes of its all business schools.The results of CAT 2009 will be available from Febraury 28th 2010 on the cat website.

Union budget 2010

Union budget 2010 is being presented by Pranab Mukherjee in the parliament house today that is 26 th Febraury 2010.

According to latest inputs ,

• Income Tax proposals Slab: Income up to Rs 1.6 lakh ----- tax will be nil
• Income Tax proposals Slab: Income above 1.6 lakh and up to Rs 5 lakh -- tax will be 10%
• Income Tax proposals Slab: Income above Rs 5 lakh and up to Rs 8 lakh -- tax will be 20%
• Income Tax proposals Slab: Income above Rs 8 lakh -- tax will be 30%

Center Forms Telangana Commitee

Central goveernment of India announced that it will form a 5 member commitee on telangana . Members of this commitee are as follows:

1. Justice B N Srikrishna
2. Ranbir Singh
3. Dr. Abusaleh Shariff
4. Ravinder Kaur
5. Vinod K Duggal

Many people from telangana region were dissappointed by this move from central government and claims this as a move to delebrately delay the formation of seperate telangana. Students of Osmania University are very agitated with this move and burned effigies. Many congress leaders from telangana are fearing that this move may spoil their political career in the telangana region.
